Affiliate Disclosure

Affiliate Disclosure

How HonestPocket handles affiliate relationships, compensation, and reader trust.

What this means in practice

The top-level standards are designed to keep HonestPocket useful, transparent, and reader-first.

Honest Opinions

Affiliate compensation does not control our conclusions.

No Extra Cost

Affiliate links should not add cost for readers.

Transparency

We disclose relationships where they matter.

Full affiliate disclosure

Some HonestPocket pages may include affiliate links. If a reader follows an affiliate link and completes a qualifying action, HonestPocket may receive compensation from the provider or affiliate network.

Editorial independence

Compensation does not buy a favorable conclusion, higher rating, or omission of material drawbacks. Reader fit, cost, limitations, and alternatives remain editorial considerations.

Cost to readers

Using an affiliate link typically does not change the price a reader pays, but pricing, eligibility, and terms are controlled by the provider. Readers should confirm the current terms directly before acting.

When a recommendation, comparison, review call to action, or other decision point contains a monetized link, a short disclosure should appear close to that link. This page provides additional detail but is not a substitute for contextual disclosure.

Not every link is monetized

Links may be included because they are useful sources or destinations. A link alone does not mean HonestPocket has a partnership, endorsement, or direct relationship with the destination.

No guarantee

Affiliate compensation does not make a product appropriate for every reader and does not guarantee eligibility, approval, savings, returns, or a particular financial result.
